The entire idea is that it rejects heat, not captures it. It's nothing but a cool little curiosity. Just because the two have shapes hat vaguely resemble each other does not mean they are the same structure on different scales. A Baseball and the Earth are both spherical, but comparing the two is pointless.

This needs to stop. You can't scientifically prove something either gay or not gay. Anyone's definition of "gay" is basically a social construct. It's only as gay as anyone's subjective definition of gay.
