What are must own books?
None. Books are stupid. Read mangas instead.

The Fundamentals of Power Electronics by Erickson
This is pretty much essential reading for anybody thats on sci.
How smart /sci/ truly is?
C because there is no correct answer.
>>8732891
but then C is correct so the probability is at least 25%
>>8732895
But what if there are multiple correct answers. Then the chance is increased.
any surgeons or people with intense knowledge of human anatomy and physiology on tonight? I have questions
I have a limited base, mostly of gross anatomy
>t. PA-C
But ask anyway, a few legitimate docs float this board
>mfw most doctors don't have a PhD

I want to be part of the first procedure to have 2 extra arms attached to my body. I don't know how feasible this is though. I mean, realistically, could there be a way?
Well /sci/?
0, 0, 0

The only possible integer solution is (0,0,0) and that obviously doesn't really hold.
Non-integer solutions are boring and gay, just plug into wolfram. Who cares.
apple = 1
banana = 1
pineapple = (3 + sqrt(41))/2
Prove you aren't a brainlet by answering the following question.
A spaceship leaves earth now for a planet around another star 200 light years away. In 100 years you leave earth in a spaceship that can go 2c, twice the speed of light headed for the same planet.
what would the captain of the slower ship see as he watches you overtake him?
assume that faster than light travel will be possible in 100 years.

STRATOSPHERIC SULFATE AREOSOLS
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratospheric_sulfate_aerosols_(geoengineering)
Is it good or bad?Does it work or not?
Cospiracy theorist say that it actually causes global warming.Who the fuck should i believe?
>>8732585
Me. Yes it works mostly
>>8732589
So there's no such thing like "The government is the one behind global warming, spraying chemtrails" because this stuff can't cause it, right?
>>8732607
The entire idea is that it rejects heat, not captures it. As for whether or not it would work, it's exceedingly difficult to predict the exact effects before you actually observe it in action, but it would reduce the amount of thermal energy in the atmosphere, barring any possible emergant feedback loop.
What are some good /sci/-approved video games?

Guys did you know that death is scientifically bullshit!?
Check it out: https://youtu.be/eeqT3_XxZTI
I can't find any flaw in this brilliant argumentation, what about you guys?
It is a creative theory but still flawed.
When you smash a computer, it doesnt keep computing. This is death in a nutshell.

you can't

It's nothing but a cool little curiosity. Just because the two have shapes hat vaguely resemble each other does not mean they are the same structure on different scales. A Baseball and the Earth are both spherical, but comparing the two is pointless.
>My balls are spherical
>The sun is spherical
hooolllyyy fuuuuuuk
>be smart and jacked as fuck
>be amazing teacher
>end up teaching at shitty CC where you have to literally wake up your students during class
JUST
Motherfucker is one haircut away from hunting for ghosts for a career.
Some people genuinely enjoy teaching, for them a CC is a natural choice.
This guy's lectures on 1.5 speed are godmode

Is it scientifically possible to prove that attraction to transexuals is not actually gay?
Via some sort of brain-scans comparing gay-attraction to trans-attraction?
Just look at the chromosomes to see if it's gay. Male-to-female trannies have XY, so they are men. Men liking men is gay, ergo you're gay.
top = straight
bottom = gay
>there are dichotomies, for EVERYTHING
This needs to stop. You can't scientifically prove something either gay or not gay. Anyone's definition of "gay" is basically a social construct. It's only as gay as anyone's subjective definition of gay.
Since pretty much everything in this universe is quantized, what does it imply for reality?
>>8717016
The universe is finite.
That it is based on pure information it is an objective reality and is as real as it can get.
It is simply arranged in a certain manner, there may be other realities arranged differently. But they are all equally real as long as they are based upon pure action upon pure information.
The only difference is how the information is interpreted or stored.
>>8717016
Is it though. The first question you should always ask is, do I trust my own judgement. My own perception of results. Should you?
Is an update to the modern evolutionary synthesis necessary, or is it fine as it is?
>>8733713
Many fields are, even those outside of STEM, law for instance (applying Victorian ideals to the modern world).
>>8733713
>Evo-Devo theory.
Are we not men?
Darwinian Evolution is absurd. It's a chapter of the Materialist-Nihilist model of the World. Lamarckian or even Sheldrakian models are much more sensible, even within the confines of Scientism.
How do I learn all the content of high school chemistry in 1~2 months? It's possible? Enough?
Chem's easy you brainlet
All you need to know is Lechatelier's principle and unit conversions lelz
You could do it comfortably in 2 months, just study every day, take notes, do the exercises. What exactly do you need to study?
