The only parallel (I'm aware of) between ML and thermodynamics is the concept of entropy.

Entropy, being (informally) a measure of the number of (or more precisely, distribution of) feasible "states" or "configurations" of a system translates naturally to a form of uncertainty quantification in ML.

I am near-sighted and found out that I can "adjust" my sight by pressing on my eyes to make light converge to the right point (but since it is not uniform the result isn't uniform, it's mostly blurry except for a small part of the image I see, which permits me, for example, to read what time is it from a distance which would be prohibitive)

also, it makes me look like a total idiot so I only do this at home when no one's around, and it is probably harmful too
AND it probably won't help with headaches, just a funny trick
