Sounds like a retard who needs to lay off the crack pipe, light has no mass but it has momentum.

Joe Latarski is a human and humans are prone to mistakes as is shown in this case huge retard exemplifying mistakes.

Light isn't affected by gravity directly, it always takes the shortest path, like the shortest path on the surface of a sphere is a geodesic, mass bends space similarly.

I don't know if this is the board to go to, and I'm not doing this for research, just for fun.

Would it be a good idea if I were to take appart some smoke alarms for bits of americium, only to use them to radiate flower seeds to see what grows? I'm curious on what I could do with the tiny bits and also to see what grows from the seeds. Is there an easier way to do this other than taking apart the smoke alarms? And since it's a little ammount that I'm using (I'll make sure to radiate the plants for longer) do I still need some more than basic protection?

I'm doing this anyways, but any advice that helps would be appriciated. Is there any way to do this better?

You might end up being exposed to high levels of radiation.
>>
get some lead into your system beforehand to protect against radiation and you should be fine
>>
>>8716315
I plan on using a lead vest to protect myself, and containing a small ammount of the seeds and the americium in a small lead coated container.

I'm not completely retarted, but I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do this, my close friend is a dentist so that'll be where I get the vest from.

I'll just take it after I'm done and store it in the same box as the seeds, maybe I'll use it later. I'm saying that for the short time that I'm exposed (taking it out of the smoke detector and transferring it to the container), would there need to be any more protection?

And it won't bee too much considering the fact that it'll be such a small ammount, I plan on leaving the seeds in there for a month.

Do we have actual methods/medicine that speeds up the whole wound healing process?

Nutritionally the patient should have a diet high in protein and stay hydrated.

Artifical skin can protect areas with no intact skin and promote regrowth of natural skin. Mostly used for burn victims.

Cuts should be sewn together, glued or closed with surgical staples.

For small or medium sized wounds, clean the affected area and and suppress bacteria infections via antibiotics and/or local anti-bacterial bandages to allow an optimized healing process..
>>
Platlet rich plasma gel can speed up healing of the skin but I'm unsure if it's ever used clinicly.
>>
>>8716137
The pathway is relatively good documented. If you look it up, you can see that you can improve the condition of the wound and therefore improve the healing process, but cannot make your body heal faster. It depends a lot on your definition of healing and what constitutes that the wound 'heals faster'.

With the flack that aspartame gets is it actually dangerous? Does its metabolytes actually interact with anything like the nervous system or endocrine systems? Or is the fearmongering just that? Trying to research on it just prompts a ton of biased articles.

The effective doses for consumption have repeatedly been deemed safe by scientific study. It's always good to exercise caution and moderation, but people avoid this stuff like the plague. Like it would be better to drink bubbly liquid candy? Complete baseless fear mongering.

There is a kind of exotic matter that doesn't attract or is attracted by other matter. For lack of a better description, I'll just say that it only has gravitational attraction for the same matter as itself and repels everything else.

What would be the implications of such a material?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it doesn't interact with matter. Matter reacts to matter gravitationally because <magic> and reacts electromagnetically because the constituents of matter are charged matter particles.

If you were talking about a new, non-matter substance which was not made of traditional matter, it would presumably not be electrically charged (it's not made of electrons or protons). And you've ruled out gravitational interactions by definition.

This new shit would just pass through everything and affect nothing while it did so.
>>
>>8715809
So then it would be incapable of being perceived by us, who are made of matter. Shit, what if we're surrounded by some kind of weird pseudomatter?

Evidence for early life in Earth’s oldest hydrothermal vent precipitates

Although it is not known when or where life on Earth began, some of the earliest habitable environments may have been submarine-hydrothermal vents. Here we describe putative fossilized microorganisms that are at least 3,770 million and possibly 4,280 million years old in ferruginous sedimentary rocks, interpreted as seafloor-hydrothermal vent-related precipitates, from the Nuvvuagittuq belt in Quebec, Canada. These structures occur as micrometre-scale haematite tubes and filaments with morphologies and mineral assemblages similar to those of filamentous microorganisms from modern hydrothermal vent precipitates and analogous microfossils in younger rocks. The Nuvvuagittuq rocks contain isotopically light carbon in carbonate and carbonaceous material, which occurs as graphitic inclusions in diagenetic carbonate rosettes, apatite blades intergrown among carbonate rosettes and magnetite–haematite granules, and is associated with carbonate in direct contact with the putative microfossils. Collectively, these observations are consistent with an oxidized biomass and provide evidence for biological activity in submarine-hydrothermal environments more than 3,770 million years ago.

What is is the scientific reason behind liking someone who isn't universally attractive?
Is liking someone based on logic? Or is it random? Or is it something that is bound to happen if you spend a considerable amount of time with that person?

Read 'Families and How to Survive Them', Skinner and Cleese. Basic idea is we all have blind spots in our personalities, when we meet people with the same neuroses we can't see them, so think that person is great, have sex, everything is roses and squelchy funtime until the cracks start to show and the shared behavioural patterns start to manifest.

Basically, we are doomed to repeat this no mater how self-aware we are. So if you like someone, have sex with them and deal with the inevitable later.
