There is a 14 year old that is better at CS and information networking than I am.
Convince me why I should even live
Since when it became about ''being better'' than the next guy?
How old are you?
>>8718032
He is probably 12
>>8718028
That 14 year old is probably super autistic and no one will want to work with him. He'll be put in a back room to slave away
can you recomend me a free scientific calculator program to use in my computer? one that has tangents, inverse tangents, and all those shitty variations
it would be nice if it were portable
>>8717971
just use wolfram
>>8717971
>can you recomend me a free scientific calculator program to use in my computer? one that has tangents, inverse tangents, and all those shitty variations
Learn to program and make one yourself.
I recommend Haskell, the language for true mathophiles.
See >>>/g/ for more friendly and useful advice.

say f:N->R is a mapping from the natural numbers to the rational numbers in [0, 1]. does the infinite sum from 0 of f(n) converge?
i meant a bijection, not only a mapping
I would assume not, there is probably a conflicking rules proof you can make to prove it. Like why is 1^infinity undefined kind of thing

Hello /sci/
I want to make a pie. For that I will be using a dish that is 36cm (14 inches) long, 25cm (10 inches) wide and 10cm (4 inches) high.
I want to cover the base, the sides and have a lid as well.
How much flour and fat will I need to have enough dough to achieve this, if I want the dough to be about 3-5mm (0.11-0.19) thick and I am using half flour to fat (so 600 grams of flour and 300 grams of butter)
Thanks for your answers.
Picture related; a pie.
Here we go again
>>8717936
Is my question a recurring theme on here?
>>8717934
Also, half fat to flour, not flour to fat, sorry.
You are driving at the speed of light when all of a sudden some dipshit merges 5 feet in front of you going the same speed. You honk your horn, what does he hear? You flash your brights, what does he see?

I don't know what kind of velociraptors you've seen but the thing on the sign looks like an emu
Alright /sci/, I want to increase my modulus of elasticity so I can bounce harder. The only question is how?
>>8717886
Your mom increased my modulus of elasticity
Increasing your modulus of elasticity has nothing to do with increasing how elastic your body is in a collision your retarded faggot engineer.

What are /sci/ thoughts on Clean Coal?
None of that has statistics on what happens after it burns, the smoke doesn't float away and turn into stars.

if it's converted to diesel it should be as pollutant as diesel and not more, so why don't use that instead of saudi shit?
I am lonely in university. Do mathematicians/physicists make good friends?

Could you build a computer based entirely on a hierarchical structure?
Yes. I built mine based on early 1400's feudalism.

Can entropy ever be reversed totally?
Let there be light.
>>8716650
Constraints give entropy form, but no entropy means no adaptation.
In the case of living systems on earth, entropy needs to be ordered but not eliminated
*puts atmospheric carbon into the ground*
>>8716650
It can't even be reversed partially in any amount at all. If something exists, there will be forward moving entropy, no exceptions.
Is the production of solar panels more environmentally polluting than oil/gas?
I'm not finding a compounded report on comparing the total effect of mining/processing crystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, cadmium tellurium, copper indium gallium diselenide, silver, tellurium and indium. Or the materials used for the batteries, lithium, etc.
But I'd bet if you could compile it all, it would dwarf oil/gas
Solar and Lithium Ion battery production also has a significant amount of waste but that can be disposed off safely unlike Oil/Gas which is released into the atmosphere.
