I really meant middle-class, but the classical definition of middle class as in engineers, lawyers, doctors, and various professionals. The term Bourgeoisie captures my meaning more accurately.

Yep. Even a world-class IQ won't save you if you don't have the wealth, connections, resources, etc., to maximize your potential. See Chris Langan, Rick Rosner, Chris Hirata, etc.

it may change very slowly over time but there's no evidence for that, as rigorous measurements were only done in the last years. At the moment it's believed to be constant

Use latex if you are writing an academic journal paper and/or article to be otherwise published or graded.

Why would you use it for anything else?

Writing up homework no. Live notes yes. If you're a newbie you'd probably be wasting more time on getting the command right or be bothered by a compile error if you're using overleaf.

I just use pen and paper for notes. Muscle memory's alright.
