Wasn't there a sci-fi story where these issues were fixed? I think in the final scene the main character is walking down the street, surrounded by tanned 6'5 naked Chads with 10 inch cocks, and the sameness is terrifying

Let a function meets all reuirements to have a taylor seies and a fourier series. Then is there a way to equate the two series and derive one from the other?

Inb4 local and global handwaving argument.

>Let a function meets all reuirements to have a taylor seies and a fourier series.
If a function has a Taylor series, that Taylor series is unique.
If a function has a Fourier series, that Fourier series is unique.
So if that function has both then of course you can equate them.

If you feel unsatisfied with that answer then maybe you should be more precise with what you mean when you say
>Let a function meets all reuirements [sic]
>>
>>8873951

Cool. Let me fix.

Let a function meet all reuirements to have a taylor seies and a fourier series. Then what is the derivation from one series to the other?

Taylor -> Fourier

Or

Fourier -> Taylor

has anyone been asleep on climate change this year?

we may be having a blue ocean event this september.

both greenland and antartica are being cut into swiss cheese.
this is the end of five cycles of the sun and a methane extinction event we havn't seen since primordial times.
revelations says 7 vials of the 7 angels with 7 plagues in these 7 places: sea, rivers, river euphrates, seat of the beast, air, earth, sun.

moistening of the troposphere takes only weeks and our earth is becoming more oblong. as the sun burns up more helium in the photon belt it will cause more earthquakes, floods and volcanic activity. ocean loading itself is a feedback as it promotes the unzipping of entire fault lines.

the arctic has been warming 1c per decade, the rest of the planet, 0.15, a ratio of 7:1!
>>
all of the feedbacks in the arctic are accelerating feedbacks.

they include wave ice, ice albedo (reflection), snow cover albedo, water vapor, ice-sheet melt, arctic river, black carbon, ocean acidification, and the ninth, the mother of all feedbacks, methane.

There's nothing to see beyond the edge of the observable universe. There's probably stuff there; but the universe isn't old enough for its light to have reached us.

The radius of the observable universe is actually 46.5 billion light years. I know it seems like it should be 13.7 billion light years but the expansion of the universe has stretched things out.
>>
>>8873745
There wouldn't be absolutely fucking nothing.

And if we ever find something beyond that, then we have to rewrite fucking history and all research we have made for years all over again.
>>
>>8873745

Is having a fully pressurized space suit necessary for surviving in space? What if only all orifices were actually pressurized, ie. mouth, eyes, nose, ears, and so on? What problems would arise with such a suit?

When you take a breath of oxygen pressurized for your biology, it enters your lungs, expands and you explode
>>
You would get divers' disease and die a very uncomfortable death
>>
>>8873216

Your blood would "boil" out of your skin. Worse, all the oxygen in your blood would be sucked out into the void and you'd die in agony, suffocating.

I'm somewhat an ignoramus when it comes to science, and I was curious what the general consensus is regarding love. As I was made to understand it, beyond the instinctual love a parent has for a child, and vice versa, love is just a social construct. Is that about right?

If supermassive black holes exist, can this mean that hypermassive black holes exist? You know, with trillions of solar masses.
13 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>8872887
fuck it, sure why not
>>
>>8872931
My guess is they don't exist yet, because it would take supermassive black holes a very, very long time to accrete that much matter.

The largest galaxy we know of is 100 trillion solar masses, the Milky Way is only around 1 trillion solar masses, so I'm guessing the creation of hypermassive black holes would probably be omens of a dying universe.

Although technically if we just float eternally in space in one direction we will eventually stumble upon one.

There's one thing I just don't understand about black hole theories. And that's is the entropy inside them.
Seems to me, there should be a certain density (or heat) at which entropy tears apart sub atomic particles, converting all mass into energy.
If mass is converted into energy, then that mass is no longer bending space. Which should reduce the gravity of the black hole. There should be an equilibrium between mass falling in and mass converted to energy. There should be an upper limit to the mass of a black hole.

What am I missing here?

Fascinating how the kids who had severe ADHD grew up and don't have it anymore, wouldn't you say?
>>
Only a small percentage of people diagnosed with ADHD actually suffer from dopamine deficiency in the prefrontal cortex. Just because it's overdiagnosed so often doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But Doctors that prescribe drugs like Adderall have to meet with their patients every so often, making it one of the most profitable disorders.
