does masturbating cause baldness? whenever I rub one out my hair feels weaker and I shed more hair but when I do nofap I lose much less hair and it looks thicker and fuller.

also I suffer from dry skin and when I fap my skin becomes dry but when I do nofap all my back acne clears up and I feel great.

I want to find as many official reports about the medicinal benefits of Cannabis products.

- How does it affect people who do not use it for medical problems, compared to those who do?
- I'm specifically interested in the effects it has on the brain and cancer.
-How many cannabis users get cancer or other illnesses in comparison to those who do not.
-Could cannabis extracts/compounds be infused with other substances for a different form of treatment for whatever illness. Im speaking of pharmaceuticals and other naturally grown substances.

Can you guys help me out by posting OFFICIAL reports and studies.

Will this really happen? How is the progress on this? Literally no sources on anything keeping alive for more than a month after the procedure, supposedly a monkey got 20 days until it was killed because of "ethical reasons".

Is this a meme or could this work? What are the biggest challenges to overcome?

I know psychedelics are just drugs, but why is it that discussions of psychedelics in particular seem to me to most accurately describe the human experience in its most animal, physical, immediate form?

The little phrases that immediately bring up memories of things we've all experienced on acid or weed, which are impossible to reference in some other way. "Newly realized" thoughts that you already knew but didn't "know". "Feeling instead of just knowing" things you've always known. The mundane, the boring, the interesting, and beautiful.

Psychedelics are jamming a screw driver in the gears of one's consciousness and seeing what happens. Why isn't this a valid, scientific way to analyze the nature of consciousness? It is repeatable and anyone can try it.

Why do people dismiss this as hippy nonsense, as "just a drug"? It is "just a drug", but it's also a drug and also a good way to legitimately experience the result of a scientific experiment into the nature of the self

I don't know what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that I think psychedelics will end up being extremely relevant to determining the nature of consciousness as an abstract concept, and anyone who has done them enough knows exactly what I'm talking about. That they are extremely important to the nature of this thing we all go through called life, it's not just Newtonian mechanics, it's not just quantum physics, it's not some branch of anything that is easily described through what we already know - there is this concept of consciousness and qualia and it's fucking crazy and insane. And psychedelics are at the core of the tools we have for analysis of this natural phenomenon.

Right now qualia are just this abstract philosophical crap and if you mention the word people laugh, but LITERALLY all we have for sure is qualia. It's all I have. I sit here and type and it's all I have. I can't even empirically verify that any of you exist and have qualia either. Oh well. See what I mean?

This thread should probably go into /adv/ or a similar board, but oh well. Any /sci/ fags here go into policy making or a high level within the industry?

/sci/ (pharmacology) undergrad here. Cancer research/drug development is bretty big but seems risky in terms of effort/reward. So I was thinking about other ways to make an impact on lives - hence the policy making.

I'm starting to do some research on capitalism and I thought the best place to start would be here.

As you all know capitalism is great so long as it's controlled - but it's not controlled enough, it's unbalanced in favour of the extremely wealthy. We can see that the market is increasingly brought up by a wealthy few, and at this rate, it's inevitably going to end up so saturated by the elitist class, the common man will find it impossible to start their own business.

What is the world and it's governments doing, if anything, to resolve this issue, and can it be resolved?

Earlier today, one of the colleges in my town had an auction where they sold surplus equipment, furniture, instruments, etc.
