Is there any relationship between a color's complementary color and the complement of its RGB hex code?

For example:
BLUE's complementary color is ORANGE
~ 0x0000FF = 0xFFFF00

15-n=c
N (digit of the original color)
C (digit of the complementary color)
>>
>>7921155
Yes, I know how to take the complement of a color code, but BLUE's complement in hex is YELLOW and BLUE's complementary color on the color wheel is ORANGE.
>>
>>7921160
You're using RYB complementary colors but trying to understand what that means in hex color codes which are RGB. You're using two incompatible color systems

Why do non-native English speakers always make such terrible posts? I'm not that big on racial superiority but there's only so many shitposts in broken English you can read before you start drawing certain conclusions.

Was Charles Darwin ultimately only seeking to fulfill the philosophical objectives of the Deist movement with his forming of the theory of evolution, which was in reality built entirely upon the beliefs instilled in him by his grandfather Erasmus Darwin? Does this put the entirety of his work into question?

NICE MEME XDDDDDDD LLLLOOOOLLLL
>>
>>7920756
This isn't a meme. I don't think it's any secret that Erasmus Darwin and his constituents in the Lunar Society of Birmingham were actively pursuing the objective of dismantling the authority of faith and sacred texts by forming philosophical systems that would weave the entire story of creation from it's beginnings up until the current day. It's not particularly far fetched to believe that Charles Darwin carried the torch of his grandfathers ideals and wished to further this objective with his own work.

I mean, it's undeniable that Charles had the entire conception of evolution fully formed in his mind long before he wrote the Origin of Species from the writings of his grandfather. At what point should we consider that Charles was in fact actively seeking to prove and fulfill these writings?
>>
>>7920778
Also, when are we going to acknowledge that the ideologies of racial supremacy that emerged and drove the engines of colonialism in the third world are all directly built off of the foundation of Charles Darwins work?

could this solve it?
if we take the initial premise of an unmanned maintenance trolley careering down a hill, would derailment be a viable third option?
I accept it doesn't apply to the fat man version.

The only legal option is to do nothing. Get involved and you are guilty of murder
>>
Ethics is aesthetics.

So it doesn't count.
>>
I assume that the derailment would halt the trolley before it could cause any deaths
>>7920470
let's say a man heavily infected with advanced ebola agitatedly tries to get on a bus full of people.
the only way to prevent him getting on is by killing him.
let's assume you alone are wearing a full hazmat suit to remove self defence from the equation.
what is legal...
Are you guilty of murder by giving a man condemned to a horrible death a swift end?
Are you guilty of murder knowingly allowing dozens of people and the people they could meet to contract a horrible illness and die?

Is it better to do math/science work in pen or pencil?

also post favorite pens/pencils

>>
>>7920291
I prefer doing work in pencil as I'm prone to many mistakes. I do my notes, however, in pen.
>>
>>7920291
Doing it in pen is better for practice.
You have to know the steps and not make simple mistakes

answer me this /sci/:

why stare into the vast depths of space and learn about exoplanets, galaxies, black holes, quasars, supernovas and other shit in the universe when we can NEVER go there because of the speed of light limit?

IMHO instead of spending billions of dollars on useless telescopes, detectors and interplanetary probes to chase fantasies, we should focus the money into research where we try to actually build a working (not an animated proof of concept BS), AN ACTUAL WORKING rocket engine that can atleast reach 10% of the speed of light at a relatively high power output/input efficiency, for starters.

Nearly all "science" is useless. Astronomy has the advantage of rarely being actively harmful or misleading.
>>
>>7919953
Depends on your attention span as a human being I guess. Before the earth existed the universe existed and after the earth and sun are gone the universe will continue to exist. Information in the universe is never created or destroyed just ever rearranged, so you exist in the past, in the present and in the future. Even before you were born and you will continue to exist after you die as the rest of the rest of the universe. Are you important? Probably not.

Anyone trying to get into machine learning? I have a only a simple background in econometrics and poor programming knowledge but this is a game changer. I'm following Andrew Ng's course on coursera (stanford course) and it's still just regressions but I can't wait to try and mess with images, audio files and even AI.

Any idea on what would be important to focus on after I finish the course? I'm so hyped that I'm spending all my free time reading up on it. Is there any hope of getting a job with that after a while? Who needs machine learning and is willing to pay for such a service?

Is it true that people like cats because of toxoplasmosis?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
No, that theory is stupid. People like all kinds of animals. I wouldn't even say cats are more popular than dogs, or ferrets, or turtles, or whatever animal a person happens to own.

The features that make people love animals is familiarity, and that they have features that resemble infant humans (animals people like tend to have large eyes)
>>
>>7919604
nope
toxoplasmosis evolved with rodents and shit , its not built to work with humans but it probably does something because theres some statistical differences between people with and without toxoplasmosis , i think people with it and more likely to suffer from schizophrenia and some other disorders but its not a huge correlation .

it probably cant work in a human brain so it just fucks around and causes trouble
