did it land?
>@ESA_EDM stopped transmitting on the order of ~50secs before the expected touch-down time #ExoMars
>>8424186
not really. everything worked (insertion, parachute, heatshield) until shortly before touchown,
>>8422306
You'll be counting forever, because Europe clearly can't build a rover that can land and function.
please explain because i am a moron
i beg of you
Probably 13/19
If you subtract the numerator to the denominator you get 3,5,6,5,3,5,?
So I suppose the next is 6 but I don't know
I had to cheat and use my sequence analyzer program
all it gave me was that OP is brainlet

What does /sci/ think about Brian Greene?
>>8422167
I watched an interview a while back where he said he would be fine if string theory was proven to be invalid. He said he wouldn't feel like he had wasted his time. I personally think he an a bunch of other theorists would hang themselves if that were to happen.

shitty pop science guy who has perpetuated the biggest unproven meme field of all time

well that makes me think a little bit higher of him. he's still a popsci memespouting faggot, though

how does one come to love maths?
>like science
>like history
>like english
>shit at maths
is there a curse worse then this?
>how does one come to love maths?
You don't, loving maths is a meme. It's just a tool.
>>8422121
I can see how a lot of what I frame as "mechanical logic" exists as concepts in mathematics, but nonetheless, can't see math as anything other than ugly. It really is ugly. It's not boring. It's ugly and makes me feel boxed in. There's a constant sensation of overhead. Like I'm wading through briars to make any motion whatsoever, even if I know the process, and know the end result before I've even begun.
It's ugly and feels wrong. I only use it as a means to more readily expand core logic.
These subjects that you like, all of them are practical in their own ways. Math is purely theoretical, this is, considering you're talking about pure math, which I think you are.
And maybe that's your problem: you're a practical guy. It's part of your personality and I honestly think it's quite hard to change this sort of mindset.
Remember: you don't need to love math to be good at it; math is science's main tool, by sticking with the former you will be rewarded by the latter, since you love science.
What would be the number one thing scientists would cover up, for the benefit of humanity, if they could hide it?

I guess you did one similar thread not very lately in here about the same topic. I like the frog girl too. Also, I don't get your post.

All heil the eons tall Muskinator. The founder of a company absorbed by Paypal, the childlish CEO who was fired on vacation. The top tier gentlemen who fired his assistant why they were on vacation. The man we all know to have bought his co-founder status at Tesla while forcing out and defaming the true founder. The man who you dick suckers admire for his truly legendary accomplishments. The man who steals credit for the work of his subordinates. The man who keeps getting divorced from his tramp actress of a wife. The man who reads a magazine or book then vomits in the media as the originator of said ideas. The man who tucks his penis in his buttflaps. Elooooooooooonnnnnnn Muskinator.

Intersting, I am curious how efficient the process actually can be made though.
If it's everything they say it is it will surely change the world
will probably be smothered by lobbyists and never see the light of day
>>8421637
Very interesting and perhaps promising also if it becomes commercially viable. I have nothing else to add but good wishes and hope this technology gets used very soon.
