What's the solution to the Riemann hypothesis?
>>8436954
n
Sum of x to y to the pi to the wau tao bow i
i=0
Hypotheses can never be proven (only continuously tested) so there is no solution
the solution is yes
/sci/ I am so screwed pls help me!
I have an interview tomorrow, and I need to be able to bullshit knowledge about it and try to seem competent.
I have until tomorrow. What do I do /sci/? What are some resources to study, and what are some good meme answers to say?

What's your field, OP?
Too fucking late. If you have no fucking idea then you don't deserve whatever you're applying for, so at least try to be honest to yourself and don't go.

If the penis diverts bloodflow from the rest of my body, is it feasible to cut it off to focus blood to my brain and become enlightened?
>>8436612
if you dont mind getting like 2T. of blood more to your brain, sure
>>8436612
do you just make these dumb threads to spam your brainy wojak memes ?
>>8436612
why do you think that more bloodflow will make you 'more enlightened'? the diversion of bloodflow happens often... for instance in times of stress you lose bloodflow to the extremities and non-vital organs to allow for protection and rediversion to vital organs... doesn't make you more enlightened xD

why do antidepressants affect serotonin and not dopamine?
>>8436389
who cares?
The therapeutic effect is almost entirely of a placebo nature for the overwhelming majority of patients who take these drugs.

I can attest that you're talking shit. Antidepressants do work. Look up postsynaptic 5-HT receptor downregulation for the exact mechanism.

Next year i'm going to university and I'm pretty worried about my knowledge in Physics. At school we don't study it that much , so i thaught that I could start study something on my own. They suggested me this book. Is it good for "amateurs"? Also I'd need a pdf(or ebook) version of this book , can anyone link me one?

Let's say I have this number:
>0.999... + 0.5
0.999... is equal to 1, so the sum is for all intents and purposes 1.5
If I were to round this number, would I round it up (to 2) or down (to 1)?
Technically, it's 1.499..., so it should be rounded down (as with all numbers followed by 4), but because 0.999... = 1, my number is 1.5 and should be rounded up.
Up or down? Which one is it?
>>8436201
mathematics CANNOT answer this
it is proof of its INCONSISTENCY
up.
hope this helped.
Occams razor, unless you're doing some weird stats thing where the rules are-clear cut (aka ALWAYS round down in this case to prevent personal interpretation and inconsistances in the data akin to significant figures)
Its obviously "closer" to 1.5. So, up.
I did a ton of research and there is no cure for procrastination

No really, it's that simple.

You don't beat procrastination. Some people just accomplish more in lesser time. We call them geniuses. You're not.
I'll start with some piss easy vectors shit...
Show that
[eqn] r=(2,1,0) + λ(-1,2,4) [/eqn]
And
[eqn] r=(-1,3,2) + μ(2,-5,3) [/eqn]
are perpendicular

Is there a scientific way to help me stop drinking? I've been hospitalized many times for alcohol related issues and got put in a mental ward twice. I can stop for a couple days but i always end up drinking again. Iv'e been to meetings but that made me want to drink more. Is there some scientific mental hack i can use?

I don't get how if we know p≡1 mod 3 or p≡ 2 mod 3 it implies that 2p+1 ≡ 0 mod 3 and 4p+1 ≡ 0 mod 3 as well?
In mod 3, multiplying both sides of p ≡ 1 by 2 gives 2p ≡ 2 ≡ -1. Similarly, multiplying both sides of p ≡ 2 by 4 gives 4p ≡ 8 ≡ -1.
>>8436037
There are 2 options, check them
option 1: p%3 = 1
2*1+1=3=0
4*1+1=5 =2
option 2: p%3 = 2
2*2+1=5 = 2
4*2+1=9 = 0
Hello, I can't move my right foot upwards and can't move my big toe over the one next to it anymore. It feels basically like my foot is partially paralized. It will not move up at all
Can someone explain this?
I might have made my foot numb too long by sitting a certain way so I could have cut off the blood flow.
Do u have potassium defieciency
>>8436000
Are you a fat piece of inactive shit?
the fact that you cant move your foot up would suggest damage of the deep fibular nerve, probably through compression
