I use a login security plugin from the VEX antigreifing Minecraft package version 1.8.2489. Any non-premium accounts are good to go, but keep in mind that you aren't protected by basic bukit auxiliary plugins suck as claim protection, item history detaileing generator, and big brother mineconomy patch version 1.8.997.
The real reason for the lag is everyone else's computer. I have an Area 51 Alienware with 40,000 gigabytes of RAM, and a 6.02x^23 Avegadro's processor. This server should have a constant performance of 20.00 TPS, so there is no reason to give you access to the /gc command. So stop begging. It took up half the server RAM just to introduce redsand as it is.

So just know that everything is alright, you guys just need decent computers to play on my server. Other than that my service is 100% quality.

Looks to me that using a screenshot to prove anything already makes you an imposter. The only real ways to tell who the real server admin is for the mods on this site to delete whomever they believe the imposter is, or for me to go on the server and inform everyone what post numbers are the imposter.

When I joined there was a choice on the dynamap between 2D and 3D.
I don't know exactly how much of a burden it puts on the server, but I thought that was pretty sweet.

there's probably some unknown slime farm somewhere with unkilled slimes because tried doing a slime farm and none spawned, i then tried going to a swamp at night and still nothing, i then waited until a full moon and still nothing

the only slime ive seen was from some guy whos been playing for a while who auctioned off like 16 slimeballs, since then ive seen newfigs complain about there being no leads or sticky pistons almost every day now

If you are referring to GriefPrevention it is very lightweight. If you are referring to NoCheatPlus it is pretty much essential so that people can't exploit bugs to hover or fly.

This has never happened. It was SimpleBroadacst requesting UUIDs form Mojang. It would hang and then its thread dies, taking the server with it. The map has never caused the server to crash. I have already replaced SimpleBroadcast with AutoMessenger, which is currently disabled until I configure it.

To be quite honest I have never run a public server before, ever. This was meant to be a small server. I never expected to have more than 5 people play at the same time.

I now seen what it has grown to, and while still not that big, it's big for me. I'm not a lazy admin, I spend almost the entirety of my days researching and testing how to improve performance. Not every day, but probably 70% of my free time I spend on something about the server.

I hardly play games anymore outside of Minecraft when I'm talking to people on the server. But my free time will shrink drastically once spring classes start. I may have to hand over moderation to someone else for the time being (not complete op, just moderation).

I have a life outside of managing this server. And I promise you, you will never have my job.

Now if you can be more specific, what shortcomings do I have when it comes to administration? I am always willing to hear from others what I can do to improve.

For now you can use a stick by right clicking on a block with it. This will tell you if it is claimed or not. When you claim land, if there is claimed land inside where you are trying to claim, it will show you where the claim is and how big it is, similar to when you set your own claims. Dynamp is the browser map we all know and love.
WorldEdit goes virtually unused and has no impact on the server unless I use it.
TitleMotd shows on-screen welcome messages, utilizing Mojang's own built in code.
Essentials (Chat, GeoIP, Spawn) are all part of a suite that provide basic things like nicknames, teleporting, spawn location, etc.
LoginSecurity is to protect cracked player accounts (and premium) from being accessed by other users. (Suspect of causing lag, investigating)
ForcedGrammar is a very very light plugin that memes up the chat with things that make the chat better
WorldBorder is also very light and allows warping from one border to another (as well as displaying this border on Dynmap)
FarmLimiter actually helps alleviate resource usage and is lightweight.
ProtocolLib, Vault, and PlaceholderAPI are dependancies for other plugins.
DeathMessagesPrime is a simple plugin that provides custom death messages meme'd up by yours truly :^)
NoCheatPlus is essential from preventing exploits that Mojang has yet to fix themselves
SimpleBackup is super light and backs up the server every 12 hours
AutoRestart is also super light restarts the server every 24 hours (server runs on a scripted loop until killed, plugin simply stops the server)
PVPFlag is made by our own wewlad and is an optional PVP for player who want it. Very minimal

ChairStairs is a small plugin that allows players to use stairs as chairs.
GrefPrevention is what provides one of the core experiences of the server of which is claim based grief-protection.
HyperConomy (HyperConomy_Web) is the other half of the core experience, providing a dynamic free market, also leaves a remarkably small footprint for what it does.
AutoIn auto logs in Premium users to the server without entering a password. Convienent af fam

The server is good. The only problem I could see being an issue is that it's a VPS and the CPU resources are shared. But I'm pretty sure Minecraft servers can only utilize one thread anyway so it shouldn't be an issue.

I most certainly do! I've made friends and lost friends seeing players come and go on the server. More specifically BuneRavenFan, BuryNiceGril, Brognar, Old_Gnome, Renardfeu, qtshotaboy, etc etc. I miss them all :'(
I still get on the server and talk to players, give them prefixes and colored nicks and see their builds. I love seeing the creative designs people have. bunt_kerfew is really really unique in a good way, for example. Just the other day I got in the ring with a couple players and it was fun
