i would say runescape but the community is incredibly cancerous. Very comfy if you only play til lvl 50s stats/do some questing tho.

osrs is much comfier. rs3 is pretty convoluted with new combat mechanics also the art styling is completely different and a little too exaggerated. i might do some rs3 though since ive been playing osrs for like 2 years now.

elder scrolls online is super comfy with all the different guilds. you can harvest stuff and craft and sell it on the market, or be a warlord with your small clan of pvp buddies. overall super comfy, you can even go fishing for materials for making food and potions.

FFXIV
>it's a Final Fantasy MMO, but graphics are capped at PS3 tier. You can level every class in the game, class mechanics are slightly like FFT (1997). Probably the best AAA MMO out there right now, but still doesn't compare to WoW's comfiness at its peak. Good aesthetics as you'd expect from FF, PvP is weak, playerbase is 80% underage teenage turbo-weebs

ARK Survival Evolved
>dinosaurs + primitive technology + laser weapons + base building. Tame dinosaurs pokemon-style. Comfy fishing minigame. Really good graphics. Really buggy. It was available for $14 on Steam sale but now they jacked regular price from $30 -> $60 which is not a worthwhile price for it imo

I played WoW and Runescape back in the day (1000+ hours in each) but I feel like I can't go back to them now same way I can't just go back to high school and relive it. I had too much IRL shit tied up in WoW (best friends, first LDR gf turning into my first IRL flights anywhere, cons, guild drama spilling into IRL) in the mid-2000s, while RS damaged my health a bit and fuck Jagex's sjw push.
