is "loving" your own family just a meme?
I've never felt anything like love towards my family members even though we have a good relationship. it doesn't mean I dislike them though

you are gonna go to hell

uh oh. I generally feel the same way.

The only people I can love are family, including sexually. Not even memeing, I don't think I could ever love a nonfamily member
It's not. My family is the only thing that keeps me going. No matter what, try to be on good terms with them.

Love for us bots is being able to spend time around them without wanting to off yourself
I see what you mean, I've felt the same.
I know it's cliche, but I really think it's one of those "you don't notice how good it is until it's gone" things.
It's really only when the relationship I had with my family started to get really bad and distant that I realized how dear they were to me.

It's largely a meme. Clearly no one chose their families, it's unrealistic to expect anyone to love every single family member, mom and dad included, if they're not that nice or relevant or meaningful.
We don't choose our family. We are forced into it. That's why it's fucking weird whenever I meet anyone who "loves" their parents. It's super rare ofc, but there's always that one weirdo who likes their family and it genuinely rubs me the wrong way.
what is love anons?
i dont understand.
is it that i am missing or is it something normies just pretend to have?

Yeah.
I think a shit load of people confuse infatuation with love and they're not the same thing.
There's a group of people in your life you'd wade into a burning building to save or take a bullet for, and that attachment is love. Whatever feelings that invokes has little to do with it.
