What triggered this thread was that, I worked 60 hours all week, and today is my only day off. It's 5 pm and I was playing games at 25 volume. My step mom told me to turn it down, so I turned down to 20, and I said "I turned it down". She then slammed the door. 5 minutes later my dad, slams my door open and says "what's your fucking problem? It's 5 pm, we want to watch tv without hearing any noise whatsoever from your fucking room, why do you have to be such a fucking dick? Maybe you should go live on the street or with your friends" all while he was screaming at me.

The problem is, I don't have any friends because I just moved here two weeks ago.

I had a step dad that treated me like shit because he didn't want to have kids. My mother was such a low self esteem and stupid to stick up for me. I would do chores and help pay for stuff. Step dad was still a douche. Finally my step dad and I got into a fight and he attacked me. Mom was passed at me, not her adult husband that couldn't keep a job. I moved out. It was hard being homeless but, after I got my own place things became so much better. Being in a positive place is so much better then a place where people treat you like shit.

She and my dad have a 6 year old kid, but i think she has something personal against me because I'm a part of my mom, and she HATES my mom.

One of the rules of the house is that I have to call her mom, even though I've been calling her by her first name her whole life. She told my little half sister she's my real mom because she dosent want her to know about my real mom.

thats psychotic. if my step mom made me do that i would never talk to her. she doesnt other stuff that makes me rarely talk to her, but thats so weird. she at least likes my mom and makes an effort not to be weird around her on the rare occasion they have to be in the same place (i.e. when i graduated college).
