In my opinion, watching this can either make you feel like you're watching an episode of the Big Bang Theory without the laugh track or can sometimes catch you by surprise with the occasional clever writing/funny joke. The forced shit needs to go.

I only watched one or two episodes but I'd assume season 1 is probably the least detestable since they didn't have the crutch of just saying stupid quips to entertain retards. I like the show very much, but I can see why some people don't. I like it because it's wild and crazy, and it reminds me of those 80s sci-fi/horror movies like Re-Animator and Evil Dead. I acknowledge there's some "deep" stuff going on as well, but I don't think about it too much, and the focus is really on the violent gross-out humor.

I also really like those obviously improvised parts like all those weird alien TV shows.

My friend keeps trying to get me into the show and watch it. I hate the forced emotional storyline and high horse commentary. I wish it was just a funny show. When season one was out I was excited, then when two came out I saw what was happening and jumped ship.
