Apparently i didnt. It was partly cloudy and i wore three pairs of sunglelasses so that seemed to work.

I just figured you don't instantly go blind if you glance at the sun normally so I did a little looking. Now one eye is still a little blurrier than before (it was already worse than the other so maybe it was more vulnerable or something).

To make things worse an hour later I remembered I have a welding mask I could have used.
