I'm going to make some assumptions here. Forgive me if I'm completely off the mark. Mostly just projecting my own (limited) experiences with Tinder.

Maybe what your conversations lack is assertiveness. Sending the first message is only the first step. A step women take 100% for granted. It's entirely understandable that a Tinder conversation isn't going to pique your interest. Tinder is not the platform for meaningful discussion. You only get to know the other person at the most basic level. When you feel like the conversation started off well but is deteriorating, make the next move. Tell her you like talking to her and ask her for her number or add her on normiebook. Ask her out on a date if you're feeling especially ballsy.

It doesn't matter if she says no. Your conversation was approaching a dead end. It was a lose/lose situation. If she says yes, it means she wants to stay in touch. That's a good sign, especially if she agreed to a date.
