Nothing wrong with being paid to exist though. With the unemployment rate, some people are going to be left behind even if they try. And neetbux is a low amount, most people can't save any at the end of the month, so pretty much all of it gets pumped back into the local economy. Some countries would rather spend money on neetbux than having a bunch of people sleeping in cardboard boxes and ending up having to pay for emergency medical treatments and whatnot.

And again, this practice, no matter how small the ammount of money is given, will or have already created a class of useless parasytes. And it's a slipperly thing, because if you notice a pattern, every election, be it president or parliament, they promise to increase financial support, because this shit is sweet for idiots. Some might not follow their promises, but the ones that do will encourage more and more living of neetbux, further creating unemployment because more people might chose the lazy way out and be somewhat rewarded for this.

The only sensible approach imo, would be that even after the kickstart wore off, you didn't manage to find a job, you might be assigned a vacant shit role at a factory or construction site, where the most requested resource will be manpower. If even then you refuse to work, then you're out on your own.

As far as work goes, back when I had to pretend to be looking for a job, every single shitty low end job had a bunch of applicants. It's just a simple reality that not everybody will get work. They have some programs to insert people, but that's either volunteering or low hours low pay work, with no guarantee that you can get anywhere from there.
