I have never done anything which would be considered illegal, as a preface. Hypothetically, the precautions needed to get away with murder would depend on the circumstances. In order to determine whether murder is right for you, consider the following:

Is it someone you know personally? If the answer is yes, stop right there. You are not going to get away with it, especially now that you've gone online and asked about it. If you kill someone to whom you have a personal connection, however small, this will be traced back to you.

the chances of getting away with killing someone specific are pretty low. If you have reason you want to kill that person it will eventually be realized and they will do everything that is absolutely possible to pin it on you. If you want to kill someone that people would think you'd want to kill, then don't.

on the other hand killing a random person is much much easier.

This. I would be willing to go into more hypothetical details if someone were to hypothetically plan on targeting a randomo. Then it is actually very easy to do, especially if you have no prior record with the police and no recorded fingerprints. (Many professions do require you to submit fingerprints, and these go to a database, so even if you do not have a record, this could cause trouble.)

Mistakes. The plan may be perfect but the execution has to be perfect as well. You need a perfect alibi (which you won't have because you were killing someone at the time they died) Any slip up of hair or any sort of dna could lead to you. If there are any witnesses, even another passing car as you're going to them or moving the body or anything could be evidence against you.

Also "without a reasonable doubt" for eviction doesn't really exist, if they arrest you for it, even if there's no physical evidence, your jury is going to be a bunch of emotional normies who will see you having a reason to kill them and if there isn't anything except a reasonable doubt one of the normies in the jury will never accept you as innocent.

If the police have a body, here is what will happen:
They will check the crime scene. They will record fingerprints, signs of a struggle, evidence of a murder weapon (assuming the murder weapon is gone), blood spatters, shattered glass, anything you can think of will end up in a photograph or a clear plastic bag. Might as well drive yourself to the station at that point.

There are rare cases where people have gotten away with murdering someone they know. However, the only reason we know about these cases is that after getting away with it, they stupidly kicked up some old dirt several years later and got caught. This crime will follow you forever. You will have to spend every waking moment on alert, because any slip-up could be the end of you. I could refer you to these anecdotes if you would like to see where people go wrong, but most of them only got away because of sheer luck to begin with. Don't stake your life on a dice roll.

Can't say how to kill someone but I can give some feedback on after you've killed them if no one noticed.

Try getting your hands on a butcher's saw from somewhere online when you've already killed them and have their body to dispose of. Cut the arms off first, then legs, then head. Chop off the fingers and pull out the teeth with a good pair of pliers. Hide the tools by encasing it all in cement, then put the cement block in a river.

Best to bury the body 4-6 feet underground in your own backyard, grow a garden over the body because you get fertile soil from the body.

Do all of this with a new set of cheap clothes and surgical gloves. Get rid of the clothes by washing them and donating them to a shelter, or burning them in a bonfire. Buy the clothes from different places across 3 towns.

Gloves, wear some shoes a few sizes bigger than yours and lots of socks to compensate for the loose space, get one of those hair rollers and make sure there's absolutely no hair or any materials that could be traced back to you and I think there's a way you can convert a flare gun into a .32 pistol, not sure how but I'm sure you could find a guide online.
