Honestly, I think these are such canned examples for what constitutes "robot music". If Smashing Pumpkins is robot music then putting a hat on a dog is comedy. Not like this place isn't largely 16 year old Chad summerfags at this point.

If you want some actually decrepid, harsh music then look here. It's a blight, it's unpleasant to listen to, it's legitimately sad and challenging and it takes a small piece out of me every time I listen to it. And not just for the sake of it either, it's a legitimately nuanced album that pulls emotions out of a borderline unlistenable blight of music.

I'm not telling you not to have my opinion, I just think you're mindlessly iterating an album that you like that falls under the umbrella of being emotional.

Note the term "canned", if that album really appeals to your emotional introspective side then that's it but it kinda looks like an Askreddit post where someone asks "What's your favourite underrated album" and they say "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel". Everyone and their grandmother is a fan of that Weezer album.
