make sure the fall breaks your neck of you do it. I've arrived at scenes where the guys claw at their necks leaving bloody tears around the rope.

For it's worth though, I dont think you should do it.

If you get the rope in the right place, it should block critical arteries in the neck. Unconscious within 3-5 seconds.
