Bros!!!!
I have a killer idea for an app:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t4m9wlyXlZgeeeIEbZZLZQC2z6MKxtYiMdMeC8IdwoM/edit?usp=drivesdk
I have a bit of people interested and want to be on board, but I'm not sure who to hire.
Should it be:
>Me
>Coder
>Coder
>Business guy
>investor
I'm trying to decide who to hire, who to look for. Don't want to hire the first people interested.

already exists.

it's shit, apps like that already exist, but idk try what you want, it's just my opinion.
I'd be interested in helping, even if it already exists.
I think it's dumb to limit who's helping though, and limit by pay, I'd vote for us doing it for fun and learning and then making money off it if we can.

That's not in real time, and is mainly group centered. It's also not spur of the moment pick up and hang out

Similar ideas exist, but the difference would be like MySpace and Facebook.

yeah, that's the problem, well if you can compete with others it will work, but it's pretty hard, and requires lots of work and also money, it would be better if you had more novel and original idea.

Put it this way
Nothing exists to connect with people in real time to meet up
The closest thing is okcupid/dating sites
But nothing for just people connecting on the fly for mutual interests
Meetup is this thing where Groups host an event on a particular day of the calendar, you know ?
This idea DOES stand out. Eventually though yeah, best bet is to sell to Facebook or Google, which is A-OK.

ok, go on and good luck, i believe in you :D if you really succeed... idk we need privacy programs, it's a real issue, privacy is a human right and we need some sort of apps that protect users with encryption (we have tor but it's created by government... duh, and doesn't guarantee full anonymity) , so if you'll get lot of money invest it on this kind of privacy apps. we just need more of it!!
Send me an email OP, I'm a programmer. Sounds like a pretty good idea.

Code that shit yourself. It's not hard, and it cuts your team in half, so you won't have to pay as many people.
