I do both since I'm still a uni student and am not always near a pc but often post on less active boards so it doesn't matter too much when I can't instantly respond. I still write long posts on my phone, more often than not just lurk and am not a trapposter or something like that. Actually if you have all the free photoshop apps you can do 80% of the tasks you'd do on desktop photoshop for memes. Obviously it doesn't have the advanced features but layers, cropping, combining images etc. are all there.
