Eat less high calorie foods and more foods that are filling but low calorie

Also, I work in the trades. I had a couple of eggs, nutritional yeast, coffee and a banana for breakfast. That will hold me until my lunch break which is 7 hours from now. That breakfast cost me less $2.

I have a fairly big breakfast at 7am (650cal) but it does last me until around 11-12 when I just have a light snack.

Figure out how many calories you expend daily and plan your meals accordingly, no need to count calories like those health obsessed 40 y old ladies but a general idea is good to have so you know how much you can have and when you are going over too much.

A slight deficit won't leave you in constant hunger and will slowly drop weight.
I've noticed if I have 200-300 calories less than I spend during the day I will start feeling slightly hungry in the evening.
The slower you drop weight by eating less the less hungry you will be.
