Anyone else here fake scan a few items to get them for free? If someone confronts me about it I'll just act like I didnt notice. I dont do it all the time, usually when it looks like the "guard" doesnt care or is busy talking with someone.

Same here, man. Cashiered for 4 years and became a pro at scanning and bagging shit fast. The only bottle neck is the computer. You don't even have to select what method of payment you're using, just insert your cash or card.

I usually buy things as a need them so my grocery lists are usually pretty small. So, most of my time spent there is waiting for the computer to register my card as inserted and to print my receipt. I'm out of there before anybody else, including people that started before me with fewer items.

Never understood the self checking hate. Was a godsend for me.
