I went to see Spirited Away for its 10-year anniversary run, largely for the nostalgia factor because I saw it at the same theater for its original US run so long ago. But I don't go out much and would rather watch these at home I think.

I just want my first ghibli movie to be in the highest quality with the best sound, I'll probably re-watch the rest at home after I've seen them all

My uncle studied film and animation, and he loves studio ghibli so he'll probably be going and invite me to go with him.
I'd love to see that one with the raccoons on the big screen (forgot name) but I guess it's not a fan favourite.

Nice, I went to see Spirited Away and Princess Monoke this year in theatres. Really comfy time and everyone there was into the experience.

I watched 20 minutes of Spirited Away before turning it off.
Really boring. Visuals can't make up for the fact that it's clearly written for children.
