I never had trouble shitting but I did notice I had to make a lot of effort of actually shitting when I was on the toilet seat in a sitting position. It felt like I was trying to force it or something.

I then saw a post like this and tried it because it seemed a lot more logical. It's so convenient I have been doing it for years.

Toilets are just not designed for them to be ergonomic for humans.

For nicer shits, it's far more effective to increase the percentage of fiber in your diet. If you pretend 1g of fiber = 4 cal, fiber should be AT LEAST 1/10 of your total calories. So, if you eat 2000 calories, then 200 calories or 50 grams should be fiber. Ideally, I think you'd want to be around 1/7.
