Where are we heading?

We're just going through a shitty era. It'll be over soon. Either we'll fuck ourselves beyond repair or either we'll make advancements in technology or maybe successfully colonize mars.

We've always had periods of time that were utter shit that followed after relative comfort and peace. Assuming the world doesn't go boom boom we'll get through it whenever it ends and the cycle will repeat, my guess is sometime by the 2030s-late 2050s.

The planet itself won't be destroyed. As, for us humans. We aren't going extinct right now. Sure, there is much shit going on in politics. But, advancements in technology is main thing. Imagine what can we achieve in 100 or 1000 years. The technological revolution started from 1940s and that isn't even a longer period. Imagine if it started from 1500s. We'd be on Mars right now.

I think the advancement of quantum computers will really change the game. As long as we don't bomb ourselves to extinction we'll all probably end up addicted to augmented realities

I feel like something is afoot with humanity as a species. Like there's a genetic divide between certain classes of people that's wide enough to officially class them as different species. I'm not talking about racially either. One class is literally building robots, machines and computers to replace the other class as workers while that other class does not have even a modicum of the abilities needed to do such a thing. This really bothers me and the situation smacks of artifice on some level.

I can't say where we are going in actuality, but ideally i think our best course of action is to evolve into a synthetic species. Nature is archaic and non-preemptive in it's ways which is exactly the opposite of what we are, so taking evolution into our own hands and having full control/choice over our responses and behaviours would help our individualities and large social groupings coexist better and perhaps eventually help form wholeness on an unconscious level.

I also believe having some kind of low-level connection between each other, being able to sense or feel the exact emotions of someone when interacting, can help make understanding one and other much easier.

Opinion? I think the human race is fine, just a lot of misunderstanding and bad mindsets being taught to us as a result of the few extremely insecure individuals and groups gaining power, but where the media portrays humans as something detestable, in actuality most folk are decent, and hope for fairness in life.

Humans are okay, just we've outgrown nature and our modern life is struggling to be held up by nature.
