Although I must say that there is nothing inherently wrong with abstract art. It is very difficult to do well, though, so there is a lot of shitty abstract art. But the good stuff is really good

Recently went to a museum. That painting reminds me a lot of a few I saw there. Love the style.

For me, I produce my best work when I don't care what the final product is. If I care too much, I get tight and constrained and awkward. I need to be loose and free and confident in my ability.
Keep in mind tha it's about the process, not the product.

Also, draw with your whole body instead of just your wrist.
