I don't know. It depends why you have the habit in the first place. Do you find conversation uninteresting, is it a lack of social skills ect

start asking questions yourself. It's the way I learned to blend in with normies

The problem is they start asking questions in return and it's usually on topics i know nothing about, or about my life (with i don't want to talk about for obvious reason)

Honestly i just hate talking about myself, but it always comes back to that

Not really an answer to your question, but I've just about given up, so I tend to just stick to myself and read or sleep.
