I've been to jamaica countless times. It's not as dangerous as people would have you believe, although I'm probably biased since I'm mixed and know my way around there. Also, yeah, Jamaican girls are "laid back" if you like, but not in the way people think. If you're thinking abut Rasta-style laid back, you're not gonna find that (presuming you're a white guy), because Rastafarianism isn't as popular and accepted there as you'd think (long history of Rastas facing abuse, being thrown out of their homes, put in jail for no reason etc etc.) and Jamaica is mainly a Christianand conservative country. Many of the girls you find there are well-mannered, reasonably well educated, but not afraid to have fun. I'd say go for it.
