I understand what you mean. The threads used to have personality and were really enjoyable, but sadly most active contributors like MisakiCrazyFan, BlackOutAnon, Varista and HostageAnon stopped posting. The only thing I can provide you with is images of Misaki, sorry.

The novel is really good but the anime is still my favorite NHK adaptation. I've read the manga online and it's great but I wasn't particularly happy with the ending. It's not a bad ending but I wanted more closure for all the characters.

i have been drawing for a couple of years and somewhat i always forget everything i learn
Like i will do fine for a while and then its like i forgot everything, nothing sticks
Im struggeling with basic stuff i nailed a year ago, how is that possible? drawing is the only thing i do, i dont even mantain proper hygiene, if i cant be proud of it then whats the point even getting outof bed
Sometimes i swear the harder i try the worse i get, there is nothing like practicing everyday for hours and at the end of the week seeing every drawing has the exact same mistakes, if i can tell my mistakes why do i keep making them?
people tell me im better than this, am i really? a better person than me would struggle with this, that means iim really garbage

Still here anon, glad Im remembered. Hiroshim00t rangebanned me for being a filthy phoneposter so I ponied up for a pass.

The past few fridays Ive been going to the park by my house to wait for Misaki. If you have a park nearby that doesnt usually have a ton of people, I highly recommend it. Slightly less pathetic than spending friday alone drinking desu.

Have you talked to other artists about this? Maybe some of them can relate and give you advice. It doesn't sound like you're getting worse at drawing to me, it seems like you're severely depressed, which affects your ability to draw. I know therapists are looked down upon here, but I feel like talking to someone could help you. Then again, I'm only making assumptions, sorry if I said something stupid.

Y'all know Misaki isn't real right? No, not Misaki the character, she's not real too. But Misaki, the idea, isn't real. Nobody in this world, except your parents (maybe) will ever want to look after you. Nobody will want to care for you, drag you out of your shell. Nobody will ever be curious enough to want to see all that you can be, with just a bit of love, care, and time. Nobody will ever complete your Puzzle. In fact, 3Dwomen, or people in general, want to be cared for, or at the very least, can care for themselves. Relationships like Misaki and Sato... nobody will ever be willing to do something so selfless. In the real world, in the 3D world, outside of the room and outside of the computer screen the world is pretty cutthroat. Mommy GFs and Misaki's don't exist. There is never going to be a Valkyrie in shining armor for us, no matter how much we want it. The closest we can ever achieve is by having a good loving mother. And, well, if you don't, I hope you love yourself. Because if you can't be your own Misaki, no one else will.

It is theoretically possible, the human brain is just a sentient computer made out of biological materials after all. I think we'll have it within our lifetimes though, the blueprint is right behind our eyes. All we need to do is make the technology to build one artificially, and then start tweaking it for the behavior we want.
