Building off of this: if you want to meet "weirdo" friends, your only real bet is making friends with mentally ill/developmentally disabled people. Being weird isn't belonging to a certain subculture. Being weird is having actual chemical and/or structural brain characteristics that make you fundamentally different from 99% of the population and affect your perception of the world accordingly.

Depends on the place I guess. The majority of them are always going to be like that, but usually those type of people move onto other drugs like X or meth eventually in my experience.

Artsy people are like regular people. There isn't much to be gained from them aside of general comfort small talk about one's interests. What truly matters is a thorough, nietzschean desire for truthfulness which OP already proved to not have.
