As mean as some of these comments are, they do have some merit to them. It sounds like you were desperate to be with somebody. Before you can love someone else you have to learn to love yourself. A few months ago I broke up with my gf because she was super clingy and depressed. I tried getting her help but I learned that you can't "fix" depression, and so instead of dragging on a toxic relationship, I did what I believed was best for the both of us.
