Why would you think that's a meme? Pretty much everyone I know had 800+ Facebook friend, and anyone that actully tried had over 1000.
Before I finally deleted it, I was the only person I know with sub 500 friends, I litterally only had like 17 because if I didn't see them in real life they got removed.
