>work wage cuck job
>they give me pay card

>call the card holder and speak to some receptionist

The fuck

What the fuck is a pay card? Why don't you have your own bank account?
>have a job
>manager steals my labor at the time clock
>business owners steal the rest of my surplus value
>bank takes the balance of my wages
But socialism is for libcucks, huh?

Many places give you a (((company card))) that they put the funds directly on, and although legally they have to give you the option of just getting a regular paycheck instead, they can also say "We pay you within 2 days of pay period on the company card, but it'll take 6 weeks if you require a physical check."
It borders on Depression-era practices of paying workers in IOU's, in my opinion.

Lol what the fuck? When I worked part time I just had it direct deposited into my bank account. This sounds like a scam desu. Is this in the US?
>>38622069
I tried to set up direct depost but the company never set it up. When I first started working here 6 months ago they never did it. Then they said I would have to wait 3 days later for my pay check so I just decided to keep the card. That's why I was withdrawing the money, so I could put it in my regular paycheck

Yes it is in the U.S. I explain the situation below

>sounds like a scam
It's very common, especially with larger companies. A fairly large West Coast solar company forced me to get a company paycard for this reason, I couldn't afford to wait six weeks for my first paycheck.
It's exactly like any regular debit card, it's just their specific paycard. And yes, this is in burger. As far as scam, it's not a scam, just a shady way of being able to jew you a bit.
Some (even larger) companies WILL try to jew you like this, but generally speaking if you just confront them they're aware that a few weeks' pay is a lot less than a lawsuit, and they'll cough it up.
All this fucking banking-account shit is heavily Hebrew'd and generally speaking good for rich people but just makes life that much more frustrating for poor people. In my opinion, desu

I mean regular account

true. I can't wait until I graduate college desu, then I can find a decent software engineering job where I won't have to worry about this shit anymore.
P.S. I work at a burger flipping joint so that's why it's so shady. I called the company and if I don't get my shit back, I'm going to call upper management and bitch
