How's your day been anons'? Mine could have went a lot better.
I'm broke all the fucking time and life can fuck off.
>>38603141
Yeah, I didn't do much today. But it was kind of comfy that way.
How about some comfy music, robots? I'll start.

>>38603141
Really great.
>Woke up early.
>Rode train to work, read interesting book.
>Easy day at work (software QA), mostly browsed reddit and drank tea.
>Chatted with friends through skype all day.
>Rode the train home; took a nap for a half hour.
>Got home, worked out in home gym for an hour or so.
>Made dinner from a big batch of frozen stew I made a few weeks ago.
>Currently playing Skyrim and browsing 4chan.
Life is good.
>>38604071
I'm really glad you had a good day. Keep it up.
>>38604071
Guess I'll greentext my day too
>sleep all day
>watch cartoons
>eat yummy soup
>now I'm here
>>38604172
Thank you!
This has been the worst year of my life. February to June was basically hell, every day. I got out of the trouble, got myself a new apartment, new furniture, a new life. I'm making the most of it.
>Been playing vidya all day (Rayman and Sonic)
>two new games ordered from ebay
>starting at new school after summer
>starting trombone after christmas
>>38604223
Glad things are looking up for you.
More comfy music.

Comfy alleyway at night
>>38604347
I know it probably doesn't mean much from a random stranger on the internet, but I sympathize with your situation.

It's times like these that you have time to be introspective. Use that to find new purpose, and happiness in yourself.
Another empty alley
I've had a mixed day. Started out shitty, but turned out actually okay thanks to my boyfriend.
>>38603141
Slept all day cause I'm working the graveyard shift. Watch as I get no fucking calls for the next 8 hours.
>>38604516

There is something comfy about alleyways, even if you're more likely to get attacked in one if you're innacity.

I woke up on the floor, feeling like shit, probably because I've slept for too long and had nightmares. Thank you for asking.
>>38603141
I had some pizza and hot chocolate, two of my favorite things. Unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant so I'm shitting my guts out as I type this. I'm an incorrigible retard but I'll be fucked if that pizza wasn't worth it. Other than that I pretty much did nothing... even too much anxiety to say anything to the pizza guy. Overall not too bad, as far as my days go.
>>38604675
I'm an EMT at a summer camp. There are almost never any calls at night.
>>38604691
Well, the music isn't required, I just like posting it here.

At least you have someone around to comfort you. I only really have my dad, and he's off on a trip. Most of my other friends are away doing summer stuff, and here I am playing DJ on an /r9k/ thread.
>>38604755
Do you still get paid even if there are no calls?
>>38603141
>have a full, busy, productive day at work where no one gives me shit and everyone wants my help
>come home to my loving gf who's ordered pizza and wings
>we watch tv and an amazing action movie
>I call my grandmother and she confirms that, after 6 years of me waiting for these words, she finally is going to pay for my schooling
>I get drunk as fuck celebrating
>in a complete haze now on /r9k/ so fucking happy I don't know what to do with myself
today may be one of the best days of my life
I'm so happy I want to cry bros
>>38604776
You're going a good job with the DJ stuff though! Comfy music is always nice. And me and my bf have a bit of a turbulent relationship. We're both pretty fucked up mentally speaking and this week has been a shit show so far.
>>38604776
I had the feeling music wasn't required, wanted to share regardless.

Bro Ive been in the military now 10 years. Its more comfy than most jobs. I live in a rv now socking away 3k a month and i play vidya and have 30 days paid vacation a year.
Just be sure to do chairforce or coast guard
>>38604828
Yeah, but it's goddamn boring. Most websites are blocked, I'm shocked 4chan isn't.
>>38604856
Ah, good! Guess I'll keep going then.

That's part of the reason I'm hesitant to get into a relationship myself, I still have some issues I need to suss out. Has it helped you at all, despite the turbulence? Has it helped your partner?
>>38604433
Man I really hope youre in this thread still. I really would love to talk to a guy who knows what Im going through
>>38605019
I would say that it helped both of us, but I would say that we're kind of lucky. Our relationship started being terrible and we broke up every other week for months, but we got over it eventually and now we're really content with each other, despite our insecurities and anxiety.
I would say that you should try to find someone understanding. But you shouldn't rush into things that you're not sure about. You need to be prepared to jump in and let yourself be vulnerable, while realizing that things can go south at any minute. It's hard and confusing, but it's usually worth it.
>>38604933
I really wanted to be a marine, ever since i was a kid I always wanted to be a Marine. Ive visited my recruiter in HS (A year ago) and I am physically capable of doing so (Play college rugby) and I feel like I can do it. I remember my dad buying me old scholastic Marine books and telling me these guys are the best of the best and are the first to fight. Ive always wanted to walk up to him in Dress Blues and make him proud like he used to be of me. Thanks for the advice man!
>wake up at noon(off today)
>make a bagel with apple butter
and a glass of milk
>drive to deli to get salami, roast beef and some cheddar
>drive to next county over to get a bottle of rum
>get home and call previous bank to pay debt i owe them
>mfw only hit on my credit score will now go away
>make a rum and coke and listen to music while I browse 4chan

Wow, it sounds like you two are in it for the long haul! My best wishes for your relationship, really.
Being vulnerable is really hard for me... but I'm guessing if I meet the right person, it won't be as hard.
>>38605317
I hope so. We live on different continents, so it's really hard, but I get to see him at least once a year for a month, so it works.
Being vulnerable is hard, but it's necessary and it pays off. It's hard to believe people won't abuse your trust in them. I'm sorry, but I don't really have any advice on how to let yourself be more vulnerable. You just have to be a good judge of character, or really confident, or maybe just get lucky.

It's long-distance, even? Yeah, those are a bitch to maintain. I've had a few, and... they never ended well.
Of course, there's not really a quick and easy way to do it, and I get that. I'm starting therapy next week, so I'm hoping it'll help with that too.
>>38605234
Bro, dont do marines. You will hate your life. You cant pick your job.
>>38605497
That's good! Therapy can be really helpful. I hope it helps you! It's not for everyone, but you'll get something out of it either way.
Right, I think I'm gonna go take a walk/jog before the sun sets. Have a good night, /r9k/.

That's what I'm hoping for. Thanks for listening to me ramble a bit about my own problems, I know you're dealing with quite a few. I hope the rest of your week gets better!
>>38603499
I've always had a thought that being a lighthouse operator would have been a sweet gig. Plus on the ocean and all of the scenery.
>>38605603
It's no problem at all! I'm always happy to listen. I hope your therapy goes well.
>>38604848
Gratz. But don't waste it. Go to school to get skills to make you more employable. Network with people and make connections. Get internships and go to job fairs.
>>38605737
I'm going to become a forensic pathologist. On my way I'm going to get a biology degree, become a doctor, get a residency, a fellowship, and network even if it kills me. I'm going to make her proud man
>>38603141
I can sense fall coming! it's getting closer, it's getting darker slightly earlier now
>>38605696
I'm with you there, friendo. I grew up on the coast. I think one day I'll die on one. It seems to be a pretty fitting place.
A lighthouse could be lonely, but with a solid internet connection, maybe someone tough could make it work.
>>38604776

My husband left me today after 22 yrs of marriage. I spent most of the day crying while working (I'm a Lyft driver). I have to be pretty fucked to be here. I just came to this board to cry some more. Thanks for listening Robots.
