Liquid calories are the ones that really get ya.

Soda and snack cakes are the usual culprits. My old roommate was in the low 400s range and every day his breakfast was an entire 2 liter of soda and a whole box of honey buns. That's 2210 calories by itself, and he would usually find something else to eat 2 to 3 hours later, like ordering a pizza, which he would eat half of. When he'd get home from work he'd have more pizza or fast food like burgers. I figure he was eating around 6000 to 8000 calories a day.
