Socially remote but I'd expect that this would include living away from urban centers. I understand there's a certain amount of social interaction you have to engage in for certain courses and all but I live in commiefornia and I just can't stand having to be social 24/7. I just want a small little college I can keep to myself in.

That's not how it works anon. Small colleges build a tight-knit community that's all about inclusion and participation. They might be more introverted in general, but they're not spergs.
On the other hand, big unis allow students to be as isolated as they want.
