So I'm about to start my second year of my computer science degree and I have to say it's not going well. It's not that the work is too hard, it's just that I have a very short attention span, and there is absolutely nothing more tedious than learning how to code.
So I'm considering changing my major to education with a minor in excercize physiology so I can become a... high school gym teacher
First year teachers in my county make $35/hr and it honestly sounds like a really fun job, and there aren't papers to grade! plus there's a pension and hot high school girls to look at.
What doesR9k think? Is too good to be true or have I found my dream job?
Don't do it. You can easily make $40-$50 an hour as an INTERN at software companies doing software engineering.
My advice: take adderall, it helps me focus on my CS projects and at work

uni teaches you basic shit that rarely get used in real coding, just get an internship and do enough uni to graduate so you have something to show

AHh just as I suspected. All the people working in difficult and boring but high paying fields use adderall to make themselves into super humans capable of performing endless tedium.
