I made Gmod animation videos. They were okay, garnered a thousand views or so on average. But then I've no clue what fucking happened, YouTube just deleted my entire account and I lost all of my videos (that or I somehow fucked up and deleted it by accident? Highly doubtful).
This sucks because the same channel also had tutorial videos and whatnot that I had posted before to help shitters improve. I just wanna help faggots git gud but I've lost all motivation to make more guide videos.

I've had a bunch of ideas. I could honestly do all of them, I am good with a camera and know how to edit vids, I just need to actually make a script, get drunk and record.

So far I haven't been bothered to though.

Like a 30 minute weekly podcast where i talk about shit. Would do a little on news and stuff, have feature articles, little cooking bits where I show how to cook simple meals for lazy fucks, and usually get really drunk in each one, showing a drinking game and how to play near the start. Eventually have guests if it grew.

Of course these days if you want to do Youtube for actual money you pretty much have to be a vlogger which doesn't appeal to me in any way.

I'm too much of sperg to go through with it, but I have had the idea of doing readings of various things. Essays, passages from my favourite literature, etc.
I'd have to get a good quality mic though, because the one built into my laptop is of godawful quality and I'd also have to get a thicker skin because of potential mean comments.

If I did do it I don't think I'd want to monetize though, I'd probably only upload a few times a month as a hobby, so I'd not be making anything.

I made some vidya guides in a time when YouTube wasn't for making money. Got a dozen thousand clicks per video and was happy.

I would periodically try making Youtube videos from about ages 10-15, all on the same channel- though once I got bored with something I would delete all my videos. I have no creativity so I pretty much copied whatever I liked at the time. Most of it was Pokemon related because I am autistic.

I did like two episodes for a Pokemon ROM hack I found. I got video from the built-in recorder on VBA and got audio from an Xbox mic. I planned to eventually showcase my own hack, but I never actually made one, despite teaching myself about the steps involved.

In all, my videos, of which there must have been dozens, collectively garnered just over 8000 views. Needless to say, I was a pretty shit content producer.

I was a bottle slayer, but sometimes I made episodes of a series with me and anime girls. A lot of people would consider my views to be a failure(500 views on the Christmas special which took about 10 hours) but I've always been happy that anybody could appreciate what I do. It makes me feel good that I abandoned my generic gaming channel and was able to reach minor popularity doing what I love.

I miss the days of comfy lets plays where it was more a walkthrough of the game, unless it was a blind playthrough where you get to see this person fall in love with this classic game and watch their genuine first time reactions.

I tried to make a lets play channel where I roleplay out RPGs, similar to mynameisnotlily if you remember that channel.

So I'd make my character, then I'd give them a backstory and traits and try to tell a story through the game, I'd mostly play games with dialogue choices and stuff, then when it comes to the major choices explain why my character is making those choices, even if its a shitty choice, stuff like that. I was gonna play stuff like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Baldurs Gate etc.

I recorded KOTOR as my first one, then I heard my voice, I decided not to upload it. I still remember the characters I was gonna make each game.

Yeah I'm just too self conscious. On the plus side I found someone else who does something similar. He does blind lets plays though so to get the most out of the game he does take liberties roleplaying wise. So it's not strict RPing.

I live in Scotland and I wanted to do videos going to various archeological sites and talking a little about Iron Age history

But also what I like to call practical archeology. I had idea on trying to make Pictish blue body paint from woad etc or trying to make a spear head out of big iron. That sort of thing. I just don't think anyone would be interested.

Even bought a domain name and started. Looked to buy a camera, became a poorfag and got health problems which stopped me from hiking for a while.

I would also have to learn how to edit etc etc which is slightly daunting because I have no idea how to got about it.

I feel like I could do it if I made videos consistently, but I'm very lazy. I even have a decent subscriber amount.
I just don't think i'd ever make money off of it. Because of the ridiculous amount of views, subs, and everything else you need. So I just gave up. Still make videos, but like 1 every 3 months when I'm bored.

I wouldn't say failed, as I'll still probably make videos, just I haven't had the interest to make anything in a while, that and going through annoying life problems. I still make videos, and I have a small following. I'm happy with the following I have. I only have ~200 subs. Mostly just making unfunny commentary videos, however, I'm going more into a more political commentary genre, mostly inspired by JTSexkik and ShoeOnHead kind of stuff.
