I plan to stay up the whole night so I can just sleep through the flight, but I'm cursed with never being able to sleep on a bloody airplane. It really does depend on your sleeping pattern. When I sleep for too long I tend to be sleepy for the rest of the day so sleeping a lot ironically makes me go to sleep much earlier.
But I'm going to nap now, I'll be here to complain about waking up at 3 AM if it happens

Guys seriously don't start acting like your parents treated you like shit when they're just annoying and frustrating. Saying your parents physically and verbally abused you while you took no action and willingly stay with them as an adult is very telling. I was adopted by two people that I feel like are what parents are supposed to be. I don't call them mom and dad in real life I just don't know what else to say here without actually using their names. I would prefer not to if you can think of another way to refer to them.

My mom physically, emotionally, and sexually abused me. My dad hit me and raped me.

My adopted parents say that I was diagnosed with a lot of stuff once they got me help. I haven't left the house in almost a month but that's not the longest I have gone without leaving. I'm also really scared of new people and I hate physical contact, it makes me really uncomfortable.
