Minimum wage jobs are not the jobs you should be living on.

There are other easy to obtain jobs that are also easy/little real work (possibly even less than min wage) that pay $12-$14/hr. This, yes, you can live alone on depending on here you live. Stuff like factories, warehouses, delivery, security (very robot tier; especially overnight, get paid to watch anime/nap), janitorial, etc. pay above minimum wage despite being "minimum wage" jobs in terms of skill/dedication required. If you can get in with USPS you will be well paid ($17+) for a comfy job, too.
