How do atheist hate the bible? I mean yeah it's probably not true or historically accurate but it's still some of the most beautiful english ever written.

Slowly trudging through the OT at the moment. I think I left off somewhere in Deuteronomy last I picked it up. The fact that I chose the NRSV as opposed to the KJV likely makes it that much more trying to read. I'd like to pick it back up, but I can't seem to work up the effort.
