>forgot to take my meds (strong antidepressant) this mornin (12 hours ago)
>still no side effects
Should I try to not take them and go down with the amount or take them now?

Take them tomorrow as per usual. The side effects of coming off ssris get really bad after a few days, not immediately. Only lower your dose with your doctors permission. Also, if you have been on ssri meds for more than 3 years, you are probably never going to get off of them.
t. On Zoloft for 6 years. Stopping for 3 days, or even lowering dose by just 50mgs will cause the depression to amplify by 100 times for me.
I'm not you, so i can't say how it will be if you do it, but I don't recommend it.

I'm taking SNRIs, all in the morning, since about a year. Usually I have some side effects on the same day if I forget them, but I never did for so long. I'm bipolar and take other meds too, but in the evening, don't know how they interact. I'm a bit scared of the night. Nightmares are really shitty and I wake up sweating and anxious.

The effects of medication like that lingers for days to weeks, that doesn't mean you're cured, keep taking them normally.
