Since most of us on this board have the problem of this being a constant, you have to find a good balance of sleep and awake. I, for one, stay up ~48 hours in a row, so I can have nice, long, happy dreams for 12-14 hours. Then, I only have on instance of waking up and realizing that I'm still unfortunately alive. It's a system that works.
