>You are communicating with other people on this board
>It's almost impossible to relate to people face to face, and it feels foreign, but you're essentially doing the same thing here
Is anyone else weirded out by this?
No, I've been communicating this way since the 80s.
>spergs relate to spergs
no, it's comforting BECAUSE i can't relate to other people face to face. no faces, no fucking up.

Yeah, but think: there's still another face there. Just 'cause you don't feel it doesn't mean it isn't there.
There's no act here, we don't have to pretend here.
We're just I communicating with the other I.

I've been doing this since '93 so this feels more comfortable to me than talking face to face.
It's just you youngin's that find it strange.

I was born in '98 and I've always found it more comfortable. I only mean to point out how odd it is that it's comfortable when it's so similar to something people here tend to hate.

This is why it actually makes me salty when people aren't more positive and supportive of people who come here for advice. If someone's being an idiot, then it's okay to call them an idiot, but I feel like there's an awful lot of people here who turn it up to 11 and beat on Opie for their previous bad choices instead of offering worthwhile advice or at least support. There's no need to keep up the hard exterior facade that I know doesn't exist in real life. There's no point in laughing at Opie for fucking up or mocking shitskins or any of the other angry teenager memes that are so common here. I feel like we should be more supportive of each other, is all I'm saying. If you want to be an asshole to everyone, there are plenty of other places to do that, why do it here?
