Pretty much. Women are the more emotional gender, they can't handle loneliness like men can, at least not prolonged loneliness. If it's temporary, she can get over it with the help of her friends and Chad.

This can be balanced with a sufficient amount of comforts including brotherly kinship with other stranded males, video games, inebriation, and reading+writing.
