This isn't great advice.

Social rejection is genuinely painful, and telling someone not to pay attention to rejection from others is pretty empty in itself.

The body language thing is a problem, for example. If someone slouches and looks down all the time, that's usually a form of social deference they've internalised FOR A REASON, ie a white kid going to a school where he might get beaten up tries to avoid confrontation by taking on that stance. Or males in general who don't have friends will take that stance to avoid eye-contact with others which could give them an opening to make comments or even be friendly to that person. If you're in that situation and suddenly you change your stance, others may be more likely to pick on you OR they might be more likely to invite you out - but that's precisely the problem, the person has taken that stance to AVOID social contact because they feel they aren't capable of managing that degree of involvement if they were involved.

In reality if you're an overweight fedora with bad BO and you have massive facial scarring, suddenly liking yourself won't change how people react to you. That's an extreme example to make the point clear - shouldn't have to be done though because there's no magic force that causes people to like you just because you like yourself.

It's ALMOST as if these normies and Chads want to believe that their social success and confidence are something they've achieved, rather than something they PARTLY achieved using the base of what they were lucky enough to be born with.
