If I had standard superpowers, I probably wouldn't use them. If I had a superpower at random, I'd get a useless superpower. If I had a superpower that I wanted, I would use them in ways I want to for heroism in an egotistical way. I basically wouldn't use them to their full capacity to perform as many good deeds as possible, but instead I'd bait criminals so I could use my powers against them in overwhelming self defense. That's if I used them at all, and didn't just use them to become a permaneet who doesn't need to work for survival.
